As you all know, right now I am in love with the Gucci minidress. I originally fell for this design in the gold version featured on Kate Hudson, and discussed a few weeks back here on :::Haute Talk:::. However, I am equally crazy for the retro version featured here on Jessica Simpson that seems to have signaled the mod/retro look we are suddenly seeing all over the place.
What’s wonderful about these designs, is that Gucci creates the pieces I fall in love with, Bebe interprets them at a price I could splurge on, and eventually Wet Seal gets a piece I fall over and impulsively buy for the artistic throwback. (I know, I know… it’s not really the same, and it’s bad to buy knockoffs and imitations… but you know the female heart and fashion.) So you can guess my feelings when I stumbled upon this shirt on Wet Seal last night.
