I couldn’t be happier that carrying your beloved pooch with you has become such a hot trend. For once, thank you Paris Hilton! As I was thumbing through the December issue of Vogue, I stumbled upon this carrier by Ralph Lauren, and promptly squealed with joy at how gorgeous it is. My poor little Starry had to get woken from her nap to look at the bag she will probably never be carried in, but I would love to be able to.
With the seeming absurdity of fashionable puppies, mine has been a victim of a fashionista owner as well, it was really only a matter of time before all the designers jumped on the bandwagon. Ralph Lauren carries a great line of sweaters, and as anyone whom this posting would apply to knows, there really is a function to doggie fashion.
The reasons for this new trend seem simple enough. Stars, used to having their entire entourage catered to, finally discovered that it made sense to bring their beloved little pals with them. And why not? They’re cute enough to get past anyone, and I know mine usually puts a smile on my face. And who wouldn’t want a happy celeb, or Bloggette?
