I have had a tube of Philosophyhigh density eye and lip cream in my beauty arsenal forever, and I have been decently satusfied with it’s results on my eye area. Now, just to warn you, we are leading up to a “oh…duh!” moment in my life. I have honestly never been able to figure out why you would need a high density lip cream, and have applied it to the area above my top lip a few times just to see what would happen, but somehow knew that wasn’t right. At the same time, my lips get very chapped, often to the point of having to choose gloss over lipstick. Then it hit me a few nights ago… the high density lip cream was for your actual lips! I know, way obvious on that one. But, my lips have never looked and felt better.
Now that my lips can handle something more interesting than clear gloss, I dug up the tube of Maybelline lipgloss/lipstick that I was given in a beauty booty gift bag. it is the classic Maybelline color 410, and will be available in stores early next spring. It gives just a hint of color with a subtle gloss, and really has more of the consistency of a gloss which I adore for easy application.
