Paris Hilton’s giant engagement rings might be old news, but jewlery will likely never go out of style. Like all other tenets of fashion, however, jewlery is more than just a pretty concept… it abides by its own set of fashion rules and trends. Currently, platinum and diamonds in more simplistic setting are fashionable rings, and gold is just out. Not out in the way of the Farrah Fawcett, but you won’t see a large number of people buying yellow gold
wedding bands.
Still, gold is a valuable commodity to own. That’s why I was intrigued to find that gold can be bought in coins and ingots, and come in a variety of sizes and shapes. And here I thought gold bars were the stuff westerns were made of. Apparently, they are also a valuable investment, most likely a much better investment even than a Monolo.
