Hi!
So, I’ve gotten quite a few emails wondering where I’ve been, and why Haute Talk hasn’t gotten updated in a couple weeks when, as you can see, it is usally updated a minimum of once a day. So, here is the post you’ve all been waiting for… We’re Back! But, with a few changes. Good changes that I hope you will all enjoy, nonetheless.
First of all, where have I been? School went back into session, and at the same time, I just felt burnt out. Hard to say it, but I didn’t want to read another fashion magazine, or write anything, even unrelated to fashion. I sat around in my frumpy pajamas, despising my editor and the less than amusing assignments I had before me, and I just wonder… why??? In a word, fashion stopped being fun for me. And writing stopped being fun as well. Both of which made me sad, and scared. I took a couple weeks to find myself again, and I found that what I really got academically about was law and politics, and that my skill at writing could assist me in becoming a great lawyer. I also found the greatest shade of pink nail polish ever. So, now I’m back in school, looking like a normal person again, and acting like my normal self… but absolutely slammed with a Pre-Law courseload. But, I’m back, so lucky us 
As for the changes. I started this blog because I was not making enough with my freelance gigs to support myself, and the extra 20 or so bucks a week literally made all the difference int he world. (Hey, I’m a college student. When it comes down to it, I eat top ramen for dinner.) However, the upside was it was the best job I’d ever had because I was able to set my own hours and choose my own workload. It was a perfect fit for a student. I’ve realized as I am sitting in class or driving around town that I have more I could write about than a single fashion blog can handle, but not enough time to manage more than one blog. So here is the solution. :::Haute Talk::: will retain its name, but undergo some funky new design elements that may change every oce in while… don’t worry… still me. Also, every topic is now fair game, so as you may notice… the blog is no longer fashion, beauty, and celebrities.. but recipes, advice, horoscopes, book reviews, and yeah,,, occasionally just ads. But, don’t worry… there will still be some of the old Haute Talk you all know and love.
I feel myself getting long winded, si I just wanted to say thank-you for sticking by me through these changes, and I hope you have as much fun with this blog as I do.
