We talk a lot here at Haute Talk about fashion, beauty, makeup, and gadgets. We even bring up exotic locales, and such fashion hot spots as Manhattan and Paris. Occasionally, I might blather on about politics or current events. However, we are definitly lacking in the culture department, and any girl worth her stilettos is also well-cultured.
Introducing Russian Artist Victor Lysakov! This Russian artist is someone the American public must know. He is an established artist to the international community, and North America has finally put him on it’s map. Lysakov Art Company, Inc. celebrated their grand opening in Pacific Grove, California February 2, 2007. The artist arrived directly from Moscow to partake in the festivities. Over 200 VIP guests enjoyed traditional Russian music, cuisine and entertainment while beholding Lysakov’s modern expressionistic artwork. Apparently, my invitation was lost in the mail… just kidding.
Pacific Grove officials, savvy art collectors and local design firms unanimously agreed that Lysakov Art Company, Inc. is on par with modern art galleries found in metropolitan art centers such as San Francisco and New York. Using oil or acrylic on canvas, Lysakov prefers brilliant, unmistakable colors – his color palette is very distinct. Each painting is its own unique creation and exudes a certain depth. New or seasoned, trusting or suspicious, frightened or fearless – the artist challenges you to grow bored with his paintings.
After an art history class I took in school last year, I have become more and more interested, impressed, and understanding of fine art. In fact, it’s turned into a full-fledged hobby and I love going to museums. Chalk one up to a big thank you for mandatory GE courses. I am now also a fan of Russian Artist Victor Lysakov.
