I ahve been trying tmy darndest to channel the Caligirl style, ala Cameron Diaz. You know the effortless chic I am referring to of muted colors in soft cotton, but stylish designs over ripped denim. Hair is still cut and colored, but often in a sophisticated funky way. Flip-flops are a fashion statement so long as your have a great mani and pedi. Oh yes, and you have a amazing tan. For a broke college student in Northen California in the middle of winter, that bronzed glow has been difficult to achieve. But then I stumbled upon it.
I really am not a huge fan of most drugstore offerings. Last summer I got slightly addicted to the spray sunscreen available from Neutrogena, and I noticed a few weeks ago that they offered a spray tanning system in 2 levels of bronzing. I went for a level 2, and I am now utilizig a level 3. The spray makes this tanning system fast, clean. quick-drying, errorproof, beautiful. I have been gettig a ton of compliments on my tan, and little do they know it took me 5 minutes at home after my shower.
Word of warning, I am a caucasian woman, however, I do have an olive complexion that tans easily and is well suited to spray tanning. A truly pale skinned person would be running the risk of turning orange, but I have yet to talk one of my pale friends into being my guinea pig.
