Credit can be so difficult to learn about and manage. That’s why I was ecstatic to stumble upon this great site based out of the UK. As a fashionista with a shopping habit, something I’m sure you can all relate to, I have found the need to really brush up on my credit and credit card basics. What is so great about this site is that it allows you to fill out a credit card application right on their site. They can also assist with balance transfers, to compare credit cards, and even 0% credit cards.
Let me tell you a little story, and bear in mind that my boyfriend is a banker, err… stockbroker… but either way, I should know better. When I was a barely old enough for credit woman, I opened 3 credit cards. I used the responsibly, well, I used them for emergency items, and no, for once I was not classifying shoes as an emergency item. And then two months later my first bill showed up, and I was unable to pay it. I definitly could have used balance transfers right about then, but I didn’t know they even existed! Instead, I sold off all of my belongings to get the, now this is sad, $120 that would make my monthly minimum payments… apparently they have an aggressive repayment strategy with new student credit cards. I learned an important lesson through this small, but significant experience, and that is that effective management of credit can save you a world of stress, and protect your reputation for the future. I also wish I would have known how easy it was to find information and help online.
