I am small. This unfortunately does not mean I am short. Small and short seems to be an acceptable combo to the fashion community at large, however, tall and small seems to be beyond a community criticized for favoring just that. If you are not planning on spending thousands on a wardrobe, but mere hundreds, or even for something simple, beware. Here is my tale of horror.
As I said, I am small. I am tall, and thin, and have no bust whatsoever. Try shopping for jeans, and you’ll understand why I thought a bathing suit would be a cinch. Apparently, not. I bought a bathig suit online in a size small. This seemed like a reasonable request, however, they only had the top in a size small. I figured I could just tie tighter and try to do a medium bottom. Nope, huge. Thankfully, I tracked the bottom down on Ebay to match my top, and after a month, I had a complete suit, that was still a bit too large. However, for as much as I like tailoring, I am not tailoring a swim suit.
