We’ve all made those calls (sometime more frequently than we’d really care to) that begin with the oh so lovely pre-recorded message, and end with “this call may be recorded”. Sometimes they offer a reason, sometimes not. I could usualy care less, either way. The one time I actually cared I was trying to fraudulently dispute a credit card charge, and then I did heed that “this call was being recorded”. Somehow I don’t think verbal evidence of my wrongdoings would be helpful in that situation.
