I was ecstatic at the sight of the IPOD Nano. It was fun, and functional, and trendy. And it comes in pink! And then I noticed that students on my campus wore them like watches, or shoes. It is constant. You wouldn’t wear the same pair of shoes every day, and you wouldn’t wear lime green socks to school. So why do some people feel it necessary to wear constantly listen to their IPODS, and to listen to them so loud they might as well be walking boom boxes. It is just as annoying as a car blasting its music on down the street. Don’t get me wrong, I think these devices are great. But keep the music to yourself (they are personal listening devices after all), and maybe rethik if you really need that IPOD for a 5 minute walk to class.
