I’ve done the EBay thing… I think we all have. It’s convenient, and entertaining. But how many of us have gotten sniped at the last second on something we wanted for graduation, or for a new baby sister by someone who probably just liked it. Sure, EBay is the “real maketplace”… but someone else had a better idea.
Enter bid4prizes, the auction sight where the person with the most unique bid wins. They explain it this way, “If you were to win a prize, what would you do with it? Would you keep it for yourself, give to a friend or charity? Discuss what the prize would be and what you would do with it!”
They don’t just have toilet paper rolls and chewed gum, as I was imagining. They offer auctions where the winner has the lowest UNIQUE bid. These auctions are for great prizes like a Scion, plasma tv, or Apple IPhone. You can also use the option of bidding from your cell phone. This seems like a lot fo fun, and a much better (and less expensive way) to spend your afternoon than EBay.
