I have to admit – I really have never been into using perfume(s). I usually just use some nice smelling lotions, creams, or a body spray from Bath and Body Works, but I hadn’t really been a fan of spending tons of money on a perfume until one glorious day….
I was visiting in my home state of Arkansas shopping with my friend Ashlee. We had just walked into Dillard’s to meet up with some other friends. Well, upon our entrance we had to pass the dreaded perfume counter. Now, I up until them I had nothing but negative thoughts about the perfume counter. I’ve usually had bad experiences with sales people spraying with sample colngue and perfume trying to luring me over to the perfume counter. I usually come away smelling like two or three different scents and a headache. But, today was different.
This guy greeted us a the Juicy Couture counter, just as Ashlee and I are about to completely blow him off, he offers us samples of the Juicy Fruits perfume and body cream. He tells us about the to-die-for passion fruit, watermelon, vanilla crème brulée scent, which by the way is layered – and how we would smell sweet like a dessert and the stars and moon would align if we bought some. I figured he was just bored, but I humored him. The scent had to be the best to ever hit my nose!!! It was heavenly. It truly was! That very smell changed me. I took those samples back with me to California- and used them (for all of the 5 days they lasted). When the samples where all gone, I literally had withdrawals for a couple of days. So, I ran to the nearest Sephora and bought some.
I have to say Juicy Couture Parfum has surpassed my expetions in a perfume – I love it! It has a nice, crisp scent – not heavy. I feel naked if I don’t have my Juicy Couture on. Juicy Couture now has a new customer for life thanks to thanks one guy at the Dillard’s perfume counter.
Thanks Dillard’s guy, thanks!
