Labor Day is quickly approaching and that only means one thing (well, two things) 1. the retirement of white dresses and shoes and 2. the unofficial end of Summer
If you are not familiar with the No-White-After Labor Day rule (everyone should be by now), here you go. Only wear white shoes or clothing between Memorial Day and Labor Day. White tennis shoes and off-white boots seem exempt, as are any shoes worn by a winter bride. Winter white clothing (e.g., cream-colored wool) is acceptable between Labor Day and Memorial Day too.
I am a follower of this rule and preparing to store away my little white dresses.
