Truth be told, I’ve never really been a hat girl. Sure, I’ve worn my burnt orange Longhorn ball cap for years- during football games, on beach days, but mostly as protection from the sun during long days on set. That being said, several weeks ago I was leaning into the medicine cabinet mirror and noticed that a small army of sun spots had quietly been taking post on my cheekbones. I took a closer look and realized that they appeared to not only be multiplying by the second, but that in addition to swapping moisturizer for sunscreen, shopping for a hat was now top priority. Luckily, fall is right around the corner and this season has no shortage of options for those of us looking for extra sun protection.
