Missed Amy and Jillian’s episode of Scouted? Here’s a run down plus my random thoughts.
1. Boyfriends and modeling! This should be good.
2. In Richmond, Virginia we meet model scout Stacie who has pre-scouted 19 year-old, Amy from Stafford, Virgina. What a cute southern accent! Stacie expresses interest in sending Amy to New York.
3. Model scout Kristen in California scoops up 18 year-old Jillian from Lincoln, California. In a sit down pow-wow meeting between the two we learn – dun Dun DUN – Jillian has a boyfriend.
4. Back in Virginia, Stacie drops by Amy’s house. We get introduced to Grandma and her identical twin sister, Kim.
5. Next we meet Tyler, Jillian’s boyfriend. The couple have a conversation about her next step in her modeling career and her chance to go to New York. Que “Do I Stay Or Do I Go”. Jillian’s mom thinks she should go New York. Jillian doesn’t seem to interested. Tyler seems like he genuinely wants her to go. Ultimately, Jillian says no to New York and decides to model locally. I get the feeling mom was disappointed and maybe not 100% in love with Tyler and Jillian’s relationship.
6. The twins and Grandma head to New York. In the meeting the team expresses interest in both girls. Que the twin drama! Kim could be trying to steal Amy’s thunder.
7. Amy gets whisked away to the FASHION CLOSET. Michael eggs Kim on a little bit and gets her to the FASHION CLOSET to play along, too. Hmph! He talks Kim into getting a haircut while Amy is in makeup. Kim eats it up! Although she is excited about her sister’s opportunity, she is not going to pass up an opportunity to model for herself.
8. How cute was Grandma’s diesel fuel joke!
9. The team decides to test the twin sister in addition to Amy. At this point I would have been livid and probably pushed my twin down a flight of stairs. Scott Lipps shows ups at the test shoot and gives words of encouragement to both girls. Amy gets in front of the camera and works it. She has a natural ability to model. Kim not so much.
10. After deliberating about both girls the team reaches a decision. Amy is not signed. Kim is not signed. No one was scouted. The end! In the end notes, we find out that that Amy has booked a shoot and modeling..with Kim.
